Woman decides she’s not under arrest

A Grass Valley woman did not beleive she was under arrest.  Grass Valley Police Sergeant Steve Johnson says  officers were investigatinging a traffic accident in the Safeway parking lot Saturday afternoon when a Grass Valley woman repeatedly drove by the accident scene at a high rate of speed.

Sergeant Johnson says when a officer tried to stop the woman, she sped off at speeds reaching sixty miles an hour on Mill Street.  The woman finally pulled over near the Fair Grounds.  The Sergeant says when the woman was informed she was under arrest, her response was strange.
