Woman Jailed For Domestic and Child Abuse

A Grass Valley woman is in jail after allegedly trying to harm the father of her child. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a disturbance in the 16-thousand block of Greenhorn Road Tuesday morning. Officers found 37 year-old Hallie Nelson, her live-in boyfriend, their two year-old child, and others in the residence. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says there was some kind of argument, so deputies tried to allow Nelson to leave with the child to avoid any further altercation…

No one was seriously injured, but Nelson was arrested for domestic violence, assault with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment. She was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility, and is being held on over 50-thousand dollars bail.
