Woman Reports Fake Marijuana Raid

A Rough and Ready woman has questions as to why the Drug Enforcement Administration raided her house. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the woman reported six men dressed in tactical law enforcement gear search her home last week, claiming they were looking for marijuana. The victim says the alleged agents clearly had D-E-A on the back of their equipment. Royal says she contacted the D-E-A as to why the search of her home was done…

Maybe the fake agents got confused–the woman raises llamas, but did not grow marijuana. Royal says each year several reports are received about fake law enforcement confiscating marijuana at area homes. The Sheriff says ask the officer to see their id cards and to see the search warrant.
