Worldfest a Success

The sounds of international rhythms filled the Nevada County  Fairgrounds throughout the day as thousands of people enjoyed the 17th Annual Worldfest at the over the weekend. Event organizer Dan DeWayne says six stages were busy all day every day.

Over 3000 spectators attended each day of the four day music festival, everyone enjoying the festive atmosphere.

WorldFest highlights included the Tibetan Monks, a number of local artists, kids activities including a parade Saturday and Sunday morning, and a variety of cultural food and artisan vendors.
