For the second straight year, the pandemic has cancelled WorldFest, as we know it. But this summer, there will be a WorldFest Day. Currently, attendance will be limited to no more than 25-percent of capacity, with the county still in the Red Tier, with patrons seated in socially-distanced “pods”. That would require all eating, drinking, and dancing can only happen within that eight-foot-by-eight-foot space. But Nobles says that may open up more, if the Tier system is dropped, as scheduled, on June 15th…

Nobles says the Center is also prepared to thank any patron who had a 2020 WorldFest ticket, by honoring it for either this year’s WorldFest Day or for 2022. That’s when it’s expected to return to the traditional four-day event, with camping also allowed again.
