A write in candidate has now qualified for the June primary ballot to challenge incumbent District two Supervisor Ed Scofield. Jedediah Biagi is a 38 year old resident of Alta Sierra who is married with 4 children and one on the way, and has lived in the county since 2001. He says he has been a community organizer for the past 5 months as he is currently unemployed after loosing his job of 5 years as a solar systems salesman. He was also the former manager of the Millennium Smoke Shop in Grass Valley. He says his top three issues are defending against big government and big corporate control, helping small businesses with better and improved banking and a moratorium on foreclosures.

Glad to see someone take on Mr Scofield. Sadly the supervisors have NOTHING to do with Banking or foreclosures. So 2 of your 3 issues are nulled right from the start. Perhaps you need to discover what the supervisors are able to do? Good luck.

Mr. Scofield needs someone to wake him up to work out a viable mmj oridnace, rather than this restrictive ordiance that the Sheriff is pushing as if it has any of the same rules that the last one has, our county will see a lawsuit and end up spending MILLIONS of dollars that could be better spent on other needed programs!
