Youth of Nevada County to Rally in GV Today

The sidewalks of Grass valley will be packed with teens and supporters of youth activities in Nevada County Thursday evening. NEO Co-Director Halli Ellis, says the event is to draw awareness for a much needed youth center in western Grass Valley. The event begins at the Grass Valley City Hall at 5:00 PM.

Ellis says this event is part of a larger event celebrating all after school programs and the importance of those activities.

The event will also provide an opportunity for different groups in Nevada County to showcase their offerings.

There will also be live entertainment at City Hall.

NEO has been working diligently on trying to raise the funds for a youth center and have multiple opportunities to involve community members.
