Motorcyclists and drivers will travel a scenic 60-mile Gold Country route with stops at the Red Frog in Colfax, Uncle Sonny’s on Highway 174, Cascade Shores General Store and Peterson’s Corner before finishing at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley. Participants collect cards for a chance to win a $500 cash prize while supporting Nevada County schools, youth programs, community nonprofits and Rotary service projects. Engelking also discusses literacy, the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Interact clubs, clean-water programs and Rotary’s campaign to eradicate polio.
