New Sinkhole Closes Lane of Highway 49

There is a new sinkhole in Grass Valley, although not nearly as large as the big one off of Freeman Lane. Caltrans has closed he number one lane of Northbound Highway 49 near McKnight Way because of the sinkhole. CalTrans spokeswoman Liza Whitmore says this one is not related to the other one…

There is no estimate on when the lane will be reopened. Use caution through there. Workers are on the scene.

I think that this NEW Sinkhole is Connected to the Original Sinkhole...
This Culvert that is Damaged goes all the way to Empire Mine...
Put a Camera in the Culvert and run it the Entire Length of that Culvert Pipe...
Then, We Will Know for Sure...
