Search for Missing Truckee Man

A search for a missing Truckee man and the Sheriff is asking for the public’s assistance. At approximately 12:30 pm, on January 13, 2015, the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Missing Person in the Hirschdale area of Truckee. Nevada county Search and Rescue Coordinator Sgt Sam Brown says they don’t have a lot of details to go on.

The Missing Person, Christopher T. Blaisdell, age 47, was last seen on Floriston Ave. toward Iceland Rd. He has not been seen or heard from since.

38 people searched 13 separate 50 acre parcels in the wooded area around the residence.
Brown says with the last sighting around January 1st it’s tough to know if he is actually still in the area.*

Blaisdell

Christopher T. Blaisdell is described as:
White male adult, 47 years of age
6’ tall, 220 lbs
Brown hair, Blue eyes
