Suicide Prevention Webinar Tonight

The Nevada County Community Library, in partnership with County Public Health and Behavioral Health are hosting a free suicide prevention training webinar Wednesday evening, May 26th. Panelists include the Student Assistance Program Coordinator for the Nevada Joint Union High School District, the Mental Health Services Coordinator from Behavioral Health, and the Health Education Coordinator of Public Health. May is also Mental Health Matters Month…

Training participants will learn about the warning signs and how to engage with someone they’re concerned about. And since it’s a webinar format, Joyce says you can be anonymous. It can be accessed through the Library’s main website.
