Two Arrests In Spenceville Road Killing

Arrests have been made in the murder of a Lincoln man whose body was found Thanksgiving weekend near the Nevada-Yuba County border. The body of 60-year-old Robert Mendoza was discovered at the bottom of an embankment along the side of Spenceville Road, near the Wildlife area. And Yuba County Sheriff’s Department Crime Analyst, Leslie Williams, says 61-year-old Eric Olson and his 59-year-old brother, Carl, also from Lincoln, have been taken into custody. She says a search warrant had been executed at Mendoza’s home, a few days after his body was located…

Eric Olson was arrested at the home, with Carl Olson taken into custody after a traffic stop. Williams declined to say whether the killing took place at Mendoza’s home, with the body dumped at the Spenceville Road location. And she says the specific cause of Mendoza’s death is also being withheld at this time…

A motive for the killing is also not available.
